Yes that is correct we, as a family (minus Kendall) made a trip down to Ft. Lauderdale this past weekend to catch a WWE Raw Live event. It was Santa's gift to the boys for Christmas. The weekend started out with us getting a lovely rental car for the 5 hour ride. We initially wanted to get a "Prestige/Fun" car-you know like a Jaguar or a Hummer- to make it a little more exciting....however, Hertz (Terry's choice of car rental and where he has a gazillion points) doesn't offer "Prestige/Fun" cars in the Jacksonville area. The closest one is Orlando!! So we went with just a full size car and they upgraded us to a Cadillac so it was still a pretty nice ride and best of all it was FREE!
Next stop the hotel. Once again we maximized our dollar by using hotel points Terry has acquired for work. We were able to get a suite at the CROWNE PLAZA in Ft. Lauderdale. We were upgraded once again to the concierge floor. The kids were pretty excited about that. This too was FREE!
The hotel is across the street from Sawgrass Mills, the second largest mall in Florida. It is GIGANTIC. It would literally take all day to shop the mall. If I only had more time......
For dinner before the big event we went to the Rainforest Cafe at Sawgrass Mills. The decorations were pretty cool. Kendall would have loved it, but I think it was a little to "kiddy" for the boys...but they seemed to have a good time anyway since we let them order whatever they wanted-no restrictions.
On to the big event of the night....Okay so I know that wrestling is fake and all, but in person it is even
faker (is that even a real word?) It was pretty laughable. The ring is also so much smaller in person than on TV. To enjoy the evening however we got into it and were cheering them on. I must admit I may have gotten a little too into it at times-just doing it for the kids, right? The best part was when one of the wrestlers (Randy Orton) almost got into a real fight with a fan. The police came in and took the man out and he was really putting up a fight with them as well. Terry started chanting "Tase him!" and everyone joined in, it was pretty funny. All in all I guess it wasn't that bad, but I won't be going back again. To commemorate the event Terry bought me my very own HBK Cowboy Hat (for those of you that aren't wrestling fans, HBK= Heart Break Kid a/k/a Shawn Michaels).

Once again, no pictures till I can get a cable to connect Terry's camera to the computer.....I'm sure yall are all just hanging on to the edge of your seats for those.
