I've been thinking about Christmas cards for about 2 months now...and then I read about SHUTTERFLY giving away 50 FREE photo cards to bloggers. I had to read the details...FREE always catches my eyes!

I think I'm going to have a hard time choosing my Christmas card this year...there are SO many cute cute choices.

Here are a few of my favorites:

Recital 2010

Well we survived our first dance season and ended it with our first recital this past weekend. Kendall's class did a tap routine (and I use that term loosely). They had little army girl camo outfits. While I was very unhappy with the decision earlier, they actually looked pretty cute, but still army green! ugh. It was also a little frustrating during the actual recital looking at all the other classes in their frilly pink/purple/yellow super cute costumes and then comes our class...oh well at least they were one of a kind.

It was really cute and she loved every minute of it (minus a mini meltdown on the way over due to a lack of nap). She was most excited about the trophy, yet didn't want to take a picture with it. Go figure. She did however want to pose with her flowers.

Enjoy the pics. Didn't get any good ones during rehearsal because the lighting wasn't so great. Will try to put up the video later....

Easter 2010

Yes we are still alive....just super busy these days.

We went to Atlanta to visit my sisters family for the Easter weekend. My parents and the Hinson's rode up together so it was a fun trip. Over the holiday weekend it was also my niece's big volleyball tourney in Atlanta. It was huge and there were so many girls playing volleyball at one time and the whistles going off were crazy.

Here are some pics from the weekend.

Gate River Run 2010

Well I did it and it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. The weather was great! The big green bridge wasn't too bad either. Personally I think the bridge during the Donna Marathon was worse. The crowd was insane. There were so many runners I didn't even cross the start line till almost 8 mins into the race! The first few miles we were shuffling along not really running. After we crossed the Main Street bridge it got a little better but ran into bottle necks every now and then. I was starting to get frustrated but whatever. I had a great time and finished under 2 hours so I was satisfied.

Here are my final times
